Cities worldwide are working hard to exploit IoT and ITC technologies to deliver new services to citizens and improve their operations. While there have been considerable success, many cities struggle to transform ideas and proof of concept trials into sustainable services. Key to success seems to be involving citizens and other community stakeholders early and often in service development and deployment. This session brings together speakers covering the host city Dublin, with a larger European perspective and a US perspective to try and distill key factors for success.
