Introduction
The Internet gives children access to many resources and opportunities to learn, play and socialize, but it also exposes them to a series of risks. The Regulation on Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) provides a first attempt to regulate some of these risks for combatting online exploitation of children, aiming to conciliate the need to protect children, while preserving personal data and privacy. The speakers will discuss the current and upcoming regulations, and their implication on fundamental rights.
