Parag Chatterjee
Parag Chatterjee is a professor and researcher at the National Technological University (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, UTN) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Also he is a visiting scientist at the University of the Republic (Universidad de la República) in Uruguay.
After completing his Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Calcutta, India, he is currently researching at the GIBIO Research Team (also pursuing PhD) at UTN Buenos Aires, primarily focused to applications of Internet of Things in cardiovascular diseases.
Chatterjee's previous works have been published in reputed international journals of Springer and presented at international IEEE conferences and annual sessions of Indian Science Congress. Also he is the co-editor of the book, "Internet of Things: Foundation of eHealth, Smart City and Ubiquitous Computing", featuring 21 chapters by authors from more than 15 countries of the world, to be published by CRC Press, Taylor & Francis this year.
Chatterjee has delivered invited talks at several international conferences and globally reputed institutions like Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) and Favaloro University, Buenos Aires. He serves the editorial and reviewer boards of several international journals and conferences. His current research is aimed towards developing a comprehensive smart model for predictive analysis of cardiovascular diseases and decision support system for efficient treatment of the same.
