
I received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees both in Applied Mathematics from Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis, Senegal in 1997, and 2000 respectively. I received also a M.Sc. in Computer Science at Polytech’ Tours, France in 2002. I received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Cergy-Pontoise France, in 2007. I was an Assistant Professor at Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis, in 2002. I was an Associate Professor at Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis, Senegal between 2010 and 2015. Since July 2015, I am Full Professor in Computer science. I was also the coordinator of the Master Sc. of Computer science between 2011 and 2013. Between November 2013 and November 2016, I was the Director of the IT Computing Center of the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis. I am also member of the Scientific and Pedagogical Council of the Doctoral School of Sciences and Technologies of the University Gaston Berger of Saint-Louis. Since April 2014, I am Associate Professor at African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Abuja, Nigeria. I am also an expert evaluator of the National Quality Assurance Authority for Higher Education (ANAQ-Sup). Since March 2017, I am the Director of the African Center of Excellence for Mathematics, Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies (CEA-MITIC). CEA-MITIC project is an 8 million US Dollar project of the World Bank whose aim is to change the dynamics of access to employment by training a quality workforce and connecting all applicants and service providers in the fields of Mathematics, Informatics and ICT, on which Gaston Berger University has a proven expertise.
My research focuses on field applications of Parallel and Distributed Systems, Peer-to-Peer Systems, Grid and Cloud Computing, Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks, Internet of Things (IoT) in particular. My work appears in highly respected international journals and conferences
