Mr. Martin Potts is the Coordinator of the H2020 project EU-China Study on IoT and 5G (EXCITING). He is the founder and director of Martel GmbH. He has a degree in Electronic Engineering and has worked previously for British Telecom (UK) and Ascom (CH). He assisted the Italian NREN GARR to manage the FP7 project FEDERICA and was the Coordinator for the eInfrastructure FP7 project 6DEPLOY-2 (IPv6 deployment and support) and the FIRE Unit’s CSA projects FIRE STATION and ECIAO (EU-China collaboration). He has also participated actively recently in the FIRE CSA projects AmpliFIRE, CI-FIRE and FUSION.
