Jürgen Ehrensberger is currently Professor in telecommunications at the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland in Yverdon-les-Bain (HES-SO/HEIG-VD). He is the director of the research institute IICT (Institute for Information and Communication technologies) at HES-SO/HEIG-VD. Since 2013, he is program coordinator of iNUIT, a research program funded by HES-SO. His research interests include the Internet of Things and network traffic analysis.
Jürgen Ehrensberger received his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, in 1996 and his Ph.D. degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2002. He hold an EMBA from University of Lausanne, EPFL, and McCombs Business School, Austin, Texas, in Management of Technology.
