Panagiotis (Panos) Georgopoulos is a Senior Innovation Engineer and Team Lead at the Innovations department at Swisscom. He has been part of a great team developing the Swisscom IoT Data Analytics Platform with focus on the industrial IoT sector. Panos has lead academic and industrial European wide projects that applied cutting edge research in the real-world around the areas of IoT, Software Defined Networking, IPTV and innovative networking solutions. He had done two post-docs (ETH Zurich and Lancaster University) and holds a PhD in Computer Science and a MSc in Critical Software Engineering from Lancaster University.
