Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a fascinating technology and healthcare has been one of the prime areas where the ripples of IoT has been felt the most. Harnessing the power of IoT, it is possible to avert several diseases which are infamous as silent killers. From the perspective of risks management, IoT has a paramount importance in collecting people’s lifestyle data, applying rigorous data analytics, machine learning and intelligent methodologies to make the most of that data in order to develop efficient prediction and detection models for several diseases. This session is intended to a discussion on IoT in Medical Sciences and Healthcare, considering the perspectives of health-risks and how IoT can work significantly in this respect.
