Matthew B. Tepper was born in a blue castle in Hollywood. In 1968, he entered fandom as a minor nuisance, and has since developed into a major annoyance. In 1969, he joined LASFS, and has since held the offices of President and Scribe so many times he has lost count. In 1970, Isaac Asimov likened Matthew to a young Harlan Ellison, leading Robert Silverberg to suggest, "Let's kill him now." Matthew's primary fannish interests are club fandom and conventions. Matthew's hobbies include writhing, reeling, fainting in coils, and recovering from having chaired Loscon 46. He lives in Valley Glen, California, with his wife Debra Levin, stepson Ben Levin, and stepdog Ghost.
