Originally from Chicago, IL, Barrett is now in his 3rd year at Chicago, his 9th Broadway Show. Broadway Credits include: Urban Cowboy, Young Frankenstein, Wicked, Guys & Dolls (2009), The Addams Family, How To Succeed... (2011), Nice Work If You Can Get It, Side Show (2014). He also performed with the National Tours of Footloose, Copacabana, and Movin' Out. Barrett also served as an Associate Choreographer on the Broadway musical Scandalous.

Barrett has also danced and acted in various films and television programs such as "Jack Ryan" (S2), "The Loudest Voice," "Blacklist," "Quantico," "Ted 2," and various others. He recently starred in an independent feature film "The Tramp's New World" about writer James Agee, which is currently in post-production.

Barrett is married to the incomparable Megan Sikora, and they have a 7 year old son, Elliot. "I love being a part of the Broadway community and am very lucky to perform for a living."
