Ryan has performed on Broadway in Gettin’ the Band Back Together and Shrek. He received a Drama League nomination for his work in the original cast of the off-Broadway hit, Altar Boyz, which ran for 5 years. Other off-Broadway credits include Nassim, Liberty, The Yellow Brick Road, The Fifth Column, and the Atrainplays among others. He was most recently in a new musical Passing Through (Goodspeed Musicals), which is aiming for NYC. In the new year, he will be in Distant Thunder, the first contemporary Native American musical, at the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. TV/Film work includes Blue Bloods, FreakMe, He’s With Me, In Stereo, Shrek the Musical, Obits, etc. Ryan is currently writing two projects: a show called Deviate, led by lauded neuroscientist Beau Lotto from the Lab of Misfits, under the direction of Melanie Lalande from Cirque du Solieil, and A Gander Family Christmas, a twisted little holiday musical. Ryan also works for Only Make Believe and TDF.
