Valeria Solomonoff is an award-winning choreographer who most recently was co-choreographer of Evita at City Center and was cast in the film Los Monos (Sundance Award). She has been honored for her work as choreographer and director in “Tango por Ellos” (ACE Award), “Tango Fever” and for “Doña Flor y Sus Dos Maridos” (both receiving HOLA awards) and at Argentine dance festivals (twice best soloist). Her show “Tango Intimo” was nominated for several ACE awards. She choreographed the film “The Caller,” performed for the president of Argentina, was Resident Fellow at Center for Ballet and The Arts, NYU, received NEFA grants for touring her groundbreaking work with TangoMujer and is an adjunct professor at NYU Tisch, Musical Theater.
