Broadway stage managers are the linchpin behind every Broadway show you love, the only people involved every step of the way, from pre-production to closing night. They're the hub of all communications and execute hundreds (sometimes thousands) of cues at every performance. The actors and crew rely on their leadership to "drive the bus," making the schedules, putting in understudies, keeping everyone safe, while maintaining the show as envisioned by the director and designers. In this session, you will hear stories directly from Broadway stage managers about how shows develop, the rehearsal process, tech, and the run. Join stage managers from Come From Away, Book of Mormon, Wicked, Once, Finding Neverland, The Little Mermaid, Memphis, The Broadway Stage Management Symposium and dozens of other shows for this exciting and informative session.
