Mental health stigma abounds in our culture, discouraging people from speaking openly about their experiences with mental illness. Guided by moderator Laura Heywood, this panel will feature several Broadway actors dismantling the stigma by talking openly about their mental health struggles, as well as psychologist Dr. Alisa Hurwitz to help expand the conversation with clinical insight. The discussion will cover coping, self-care in the context of an 8-show a week schedule, auditioning, managing rejection, and more.
