While autograph and photograph sessions are included in the cost of a BroadwayCon ticket, space is limited and admission is granted only via the online lottery. If you are a Gold or Platinum Pass holder, please see the instructions from your BroadwayCon Concierge. Autograph and photograph session tickets will be sent via email on Friday, January 17, 2020.

ATTENDING AN AUTOGRAPH OR PHOTOGRAPH SESSION

Autograph and photograph sessions will take place in the BroadwayCon Marketplace (Americas Hall II).

  • Attendees who have a ticket to the autograph or photograph session may line up no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of the session. There is no need to line up early. Everyone who receives a ticket via lottery will be granted access to the appropriate session. However, it is recommended that you line up closer to the beginning of the autograph session rather than the end. You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled end of the session to be allowed access.
  • You will be asked to present a printed copy of your ticket for the session. We will confirm that the ticket is valid and has not yet been used for this session. We may keep your ticket, so please do not use this as your item to be signed.
  • You may only have one item signed at each autograph session. One ticket - one item.
  • Each ticket to a photograph session is good for one photo. Up to two people may be in each photo. Please note that this is a change from previous years! If you plan to bring a friend, ONE person must have a ticket to the session. Of course, if you bring a friend to the photograph session, you will not receive an individual photo.
  • After you get your item signed or your photograph taken, we ask that you please leave the area promptly.
  • Unfortunately, you may not take personal photographs or videos of yourself with our special guests. These activities delay lines and make it harder for everyone to get their opportunity to engage with our guests. If you do so, your pass may be revoked.
  • Within 10 days after BroadwayCon, we will email you a link to a website where you will be able to download your photograph. We will not be printing photos at BroadwayCon.
  • Attendees under the age of 18 may bring one adult with them through the autograph or photograph line. However, the one-item per ticket rule still applies.

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • Because lines will be moving quickly, please have all jackets, backpacks, purses, lanyards or any other items you do not want visible in the photo off and to the side. You will never be more than a few steps away from your items.
  • AUTOGRAPHS: If getting a book signed, please have it open to the page you want to be signed. For all other items, please have them ready. Guests will be signing in black or silver ink; there are no other colors available. Please plan your item accordingly.
  • PHOTOGRAPHS: Glasses may glare or make it hard for the photographer to see if you blinked, so we ask that you remove them if possible. If you prefer not to remove them, please try to tilt the glasses down and away from the lights.
