Since beginning her stage career in the early 1990s, Melissa Errico has illuminated the theatrical world with her radiant presence and her unique intelligence— on stage, in recording, and in her writing. This December, she was given a caricature at Sardi’s celebrating her theatrical performances and her concerts as well as her engaging essays for the New York Times on the actor’s art -- and, especially, her ravishing new tribute album to Broadway’s greatest contemporary composer, "Sondheim Sublime," which The Wall Street Journal has called “gorgeous & intelligently sung” and The New York Times has called “The Sondheim Album Of The Year.” Melissa will be starring in a concert version of David Shire & Adam Gopnik’s musical Our Table on January 21, 2019 at 54 Below, costarring Constantine Maroulis, and in March, she will be headlining Wordplay, directed by Jack O’Brien at Lyrics & Lyricists with all songs by Stephen Sondheim. Melissa is best known for starring in such Broadway musicals as My Fair Lady, High Society, Dracula, Anna Karenina, Les Miserables, White Christmas, and Amour, for which she received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress. Her Sondheim musicals include Passion, SITPWG, and Do I Hear A Waltz? She was on Showtime’s "Billions." She recently starred off-Broadway as Daisy Gamble in On A Clear Day You Can See Forever. Melissa produced 18 short films for social media called #SixtySecondSondheim & is currently filming a documentary about Sondheim with PBS television.
