Sam Carner and Derek Gregor won the Richard Rodgers Award, the John Wallowitch Award for songwriters under 40, the $100,000 Kleban Prize, and are among Playbill.com’s 12 “Contemporary Songwriters You Should Know.” Their songs, which have been performed in thousands of venues around the world (including all 7 continents) have received 11 MAC nominations. Their musical Unlock'dran Off-Broadway in a Prospect production at the Duke Theatre and recently played Houston’s Queensbury Theatre. Their show Island Song has dozens of productions slated for 2018-19, having played the Adirondack Theatre Festival, London’s Stratford Circus, Oakland University, Circle in the Square Theatre School, Singapore’s SODA Players, and many more.
