Amanda Edwards is the Curator at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center where she curates the Mary Martin collection and archive. The museum’s permanent Mary Martin gallery showcases this Broadway Legend’s life and career. The DHCC Mary Martin collection holds many treasures that bring the stage to life in small town Texas. The DHCC is also working on digitizing the entire Mary Martin collection to allow researchers to explore the collection online. In 2013-14, Amanda curated an exhibition of Mary Martin’s letters many that had never before been exhibited. Research continues into these letters and we are exploring opportunities to create a book featuring these letters. Amanda Edwards holds a Master's degree in museum studies from George Washington University.
