George Dansker is a Reference and Research Librarian, and local critic for “Opera News” Magazine. George is a frequent lecturer in the New Orleans area and a sometimes vocal coach. George has worked with BC/EFA on various projects and has been the Production Coordinator for the New Orleans Opera Archive compact disc series. He has written numerous booklet notes for Video Artists International DVD including their recent "Peter Pan" and "Annie Get Your Gun," both from historic 1950s telecasts. George has a strong interest in the careers of such Broadway luminaries as Mary Martin, Alfred Drake, and Ethel Merman. In 2018 he was a proud presenter at BroadwayCon with "Spectacular! When the Golden Age of Broadway Met the Golden Age of Television." In November of 2018 George presented a special program on Mary Martin's International Tour of Hello, Dolly! as part of "Mary Martin Day" in her hometown of Weatherford, TX. He is very excited to be back at BroadwayCon for 2019!
