Tina Landau

Tina Landau is a writer and director whose productions include the currently running SpongeBob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical (also conceiver) and this spring’s The Doppelgänger at Steppenwolf and the musical Dave at Arena Stage. Tina is an ensemble member at Steppenwolf where her twenty productions include Head of Passes (also the Public, Taper, Berkeley Rep), The Brother/Sister Plays, The Wheel, The Tempest, Time of Your Life (also ACT, Seattle), The Cherry Orchard, The Diary of Anne Frank, Berlin Circle, and her own play Space (also the Public, Taper). Other NYC directing credits include Old Hats, Big Love, Iphigenia 2.0 (all Signature), A Civil War Christmas (NYTW), Wig Out! (Vineyard), and the musicals Floyd Collins (Playwrights Horizons) and Dream True (Vineyard), both of which she co-wrote. On Broadway, Tina also directed Tracy Lett’s Superior Donuts and the revival of Bells Are Ringing. She teaches regularly and is the co-author of "The Viewpoints Book" with Anne Bogart.
