Kristina Yoder is a third-grade teacher from Austin, Texas who has been incorporating the magical world of Harry Potter into her classroom for over a decade. From delving into discussions about whether students would use the sorcerer's stone or not, to why Voldemort just needs hugs, and essays about their favorite Harry Potter character, her lessons know no bounds! Beyond her classroom, she enjoys reading the series to her eight-year-old son, re-reading the series herself, writing and playing music and doing research on trauma-informed mindfulness to better her classroom practices.
