Maggie works for intersectional social transformation with nuns as well as wizard activists. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Harry Potter Alliance, the Dumbledore's Army for the real world. October 2019 is the 20 year anniversary of Maggie realizing her grandma wasn't trying to get her to read more Beatrix Potter when she received The Sorcerer's Stone for her birthday. Maggie is a proud Gryffindor, Janeite, and Disney Parks fan. She loves to talk about systems, whether real or fictional.
