Trans folks have existed throughout time and space, so it stands to reason that they exist in the wizarding world too. Our program will unpack the pros and cons of being gender-variant at Hogwarts. What would happen if a trans or nonbinary person tried to go up the stairs in Gryffindor tower or touch a unicorn? How would magic change medical transitions? Are there any spells or potions to ease social dysphoria? We’ll use audience participation to start answering some of these unanswered questions and explore what’s it like to be trans in the wizarding world.
