In the Questions of the Wizarding World series, we'll be tackling some of the biggest "How does this work?" questions of the Harry Potter series. Our onstage panelists will start the discussion before turning the conversation over to audience ideas and theories. Will someone share an idea that blows your mind? We can almost guarantee that the answer is yes. Will we leave with a definitive answer about anything? We can almost guarantee that the answer is no, but we'll have a lot to keep thinking about!

In this session, we're discussing portraits and pictures. You can't expect Dumbledore to hang around on your Chocolate Frog card all day, but how many different cards can he visit at once? How can these "shadows" of the former headmasters respond to new information they're given? And how does Hermione manage to blindfold Phineas Nigellus? We'll be struggling to answer these questions and more as we talk about portraits and pictures in the wizarding world.
