David James Gras resides in Aurora, Ohio. He has been analyzing the Harry Potter book series, as well as other fantasy literature, for over 12 years from a Christian Apologetic perspective. His research into mythic/fantasy literature lead him to his goal of presenting/educating on the Christian and Moral symbolism that is contained within various fantasy/literature works including the Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Divergent series in comparison to some highly-regarded works by J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. David is a nationwide speaker at various conferences that pertain to the subject of fantasy literature. His unique perspective of analyzing symbolism within various fantasy literature works has led to standing-room-only crowds at various conferences/symposiums across the United States over the past 14 years. He has had the pleasure of also presenting on panels with such renowned presenters such as John Granger and Travis Prinzi.
