Parenting Styles of Teachers at Hogwarts

In this discussion, we will explore how the parenting styles of the teachers shaped the behavior of the students. Although parents and teachers may vary their parenting style by child and circumstance, most parents use an authoritative style that is reflected in the relationship between Dumbledore and Harry. The most important consequence of parenting style is the way it affects the relationship between the parent/teacher and child and this will give us the opportunity to discuss character development and the consequences of the different parenting styles on the students.
