There are many interesting characters that create the wonderful world that is the Harry Potter universe. There is one character that is responsible for the events that created the entire Harry Potter series. Harry's mother, Lily Evans Potter, is a character that is often overlooked in character analyses and series discussions, but she is a character that is behind the majority of the action in the series and is responsible for a great deal the events in the series. By looking through various journal articles, rereading the series, and researching what it means to be a strong, influential character in a book series, I plan to prove to fellow Harry Potter enthusiasts that Lily Evans Potter is a driving force behind the Harry Potter series.
