J.K. Rowling is a master world-builder. Creating a believable fictional world requires evoking settings with rich sensory details, constructing logical rules for how the universe operates, and building social, political, technological and ecological structures. In this panel, five experienced writers will share their world-building secrets with tips about process and exercises participants can use in their own writing, who enjoy reading and analyzing literature, and also those who want to write it, especially fantasy and coming of age stories.
