It is the Year of Smaug and we have just experienced one of the most dramatic dragons ever to hit the silver (or golden) screen. What is the story with Tolkien and dragons? This panel will dicuss his lifetime desire to integrate them into his fantasy world, how he defines and designs them, and even how to defeat them. Bonus points if you can name all six.
