Joey is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan BFA Acting program where he also Minored in Global Media Studies. Film/TV credits include Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger and Genie in a Bikini, Disney Channel’s Jessie, Fox’s Glee, The Legend of Korra, Mad, Monsters vs. Aliens, Manly, as well as Triggerfish’s film, Khumba. Online credits include: School of Thrones, Muzzled, I Ship It (Sundance Film Festival, CW Seed), as well as Shipwrecked Comedy’s Poe Party, and Case of the Gilded Lily. Joey is an original member of the online sensation, StarKid Productions and can be seen in countless productions, including the Very Potter Musical Trilogy, the S.P.A.C.E and Apocalyptour national concert tours, Starship, and Firebringer. On the stage he's done: The Trail to Oregon! (Cherry Lane Theatre, Off-Broadway), The Solve It Squad (Barrow Group Theatre, Off-Broadway), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Stage 773, Chicago). He's also the co-founder of the Los Angeles based comedy group, The Tin Can Brothers. He is a writer, producer, and actor in their original musical, Spies Are Forever, their short film, Flop Stoppers (Official Selection at Buffer Festival 2016 & Newport Beach Film Festival 2017), their comedic short Idle Worship (Official Selection at Buffer Festival 2017), and the upcoming series Wayward Guide for the Untrained Eye.
