In the Harry Potter series, Jo Rowling crafted beautiful and poignant endings to her stories. However, most of these goodbyes at the end of each book got lost in translation when they were made into films. Corny dialogue, freeze-frame endings, and strange character resolutions left many film viewers discontent. Join us for discussion of why the endings of the Harry Potter films missed the mark, and what we wish had been done instead.
