Michaela is a doctoral student at Florida State University studying higher education, leadership, and student activism. Someone also decided to allow Michaela to teach leadership studies to undergraduate students, during which her teaching style is a combo of Professor McGonagall and Professor Trelawney. Aside from studying like Hermione, Michaela can be found cuddling her cat (Hedwig), being the quintessential Hufflepuff in a house full of Slytherins, and constantly watering her various plants. Michaela's sister, Kaitlin (also a Harry Potter fan), literally moved her wedding date for Michaela to be at LeakyCon. (Their mom was not thrilled).
