Dr. Adrielle Mitchell is a comics scholar and professor of English and Communication at Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. She is an acafan (academic and fan) who teaches classes on graphic narrative, environmental literature, transmedia studies, and youth culture. She misses Firefly and is beyond excited that Netflix dropped a Dark Crystal prequel this fall!
