As a leader of a Harry Potter online group, community, or in-person gathering, you have the influence and opportunity to bring out the best of the fandom through your community. This interactive workshop will walk through the basics of creating safe, inclusive, and appropriate community spaces for your group, whether IRL or virtual. From setting community expectations, working through challenging situations, to dealing with abuse in a community, we'll discuss how to maintain standards and expectations for everyone. Whether you are looking to lead a brand new group or take on a leadership role in a group that’s been together for years, this workshop will give you the chance to learn new skills and challenge your own perceptions. Be ready to participate!
