
I am the Director of the Honors College at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. I have held leadership positions with Honors programs and colleges for thirteen years and am active on the NCHC’s Semesters Committee and Conference Planning Committee. My primary area of academic research is popular American music, particularly blues, country, and rock n’ roll. I am currently writing a book on the music history of Clarksdale, Mississippi.
