Gabriella Bedetti is Associate Professor of English and Theatre at Eastern Kentucky University. She received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Iowa, where she co-founded the Museum of Art Bulletin. Her translations of, interview with, and essay on the French theoretician Henri Meschonnic appear in Critical Inquiry, Diacritics, and New Literary History. Her publications on rhythm appear in Language and Style: An International Journal, World Literature Today, and The Wallace Stevens Journal. A publication on creative learning appears in The National Teaching and Learning Forum, “Traditional Students and Veterans: Using Drama to Bridge a Difficult Gap” appears in Military Experience and the Arts, and "Collaborative College Playwriting and Performance: A Core Course 'Trespassing' onto the Dramatic Arts" is forthcoming in International Journal of Education & the Arts. Interested in cultural change, she is now investigating the academic metadiscourse use of the digital her honors seminars.
