Malin Pereira became Executive Director of the Honors College in August 2012. She earned her B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A Professor of English specializing in contemporary black poetry, she also has served as as Interim Chair of the Department of Africana Studies (2006-2007) and Chair of the Department of English (2007-2012). Dr. Pereira is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and was elected to the Executive Committee of the Association of Departments of English (2012-2015).
