With the rise in popularity of electronic cigarettes, there is a growing interest in this effects of the smoking alternative. This research analyzes the effects of alkaloids found in e-cigarettes on cell viability and gene expression in human lung cells using the pCMVlux plasmid vector, which allows auto-bioluminescence for analysis.
