This poster highlights the remarkable capacity of pulmonary endothelial cells to repair and reestablish the most needed barrier restrictive properties. Whether increases in substrate stiffness, reminiscence of the matrix reestablishing from pulmonary edema, influence pulmonary endothelial cell basic biology is unknown.
