As animal welfare becomes more professionalized, the understanding that people are the most important lifesaving tools in our arsenals continues to grow. But how do we get past viewing ‘people’ as something to ‘manage’, to unlocking their lifesaving power?  From visitors, to supporters, to staff - this session discusses roadblocks to creating an organization known for hospitality and engagement -and provides tactics to help leverage the people in your world to save more lives.

Material will cover:

  • The difference between customer service and hospitality- and why it matters
  • Tactics to improve welcoming deliverables of team
  • Tactics to build consensus and get to a place of yes
