New England Federation of Humane Societies Annual Training Conference 2025

Welcome to the New England Federation of Humane Societies Annual Training Conference 2025. Our conference includes basic knowledge for those just starting out, advanced knowledge for those who have specialized in an area, and progressive discussions to lead us into the future as our field changes. The NEFHS connects animal welfare professionals so that they can learn from each other and collaborate.

Continuing Education Credits 

The New England Fed Conference is an approved provider of content which enhances professional competence and aligns with the CAWA Exam specifications.

Connecticut

The Connecticut Department of Agriculture has approved the following CEU credits for Animal Control Officers for the 2025 Conference:

• Monday, 3/24/25 - 5 credits
• Tuesday, 3/25/25 - 5 credits
• Wednesday, 3/26/25 - 3 credits

Massachusetts

Massachusetts has approved CEU credits for Animal Control Officers who attend sessions at the conference. 1 CEU for each speaker session attended.

Dog Training CEU Credits

The following sessions have been approved for 1 CPDT-KA Credit:
