2025 Conference Scholarship Applications

The New England Federation of Humane Societies (NEFHS) is proud to offer scholarship funding for the 2025 Annual Conference!
NEFHS strives to make our conference accessible to everyone. If you need financial assistance to attend the conference, please consider applying for a scholarship, which can cover hotel and registration fees.

Scholarship funding for the 2025 Conference has been generously provided by the John T. and Jane A. Wiederhold Foundation and the National Animal Control Association (NACA).
What is covered by scholarships?
- Scholarship funding will be awarded for conference registration and hotel accommodations only.
- NEFHS will award full and partial scholarships to allow for maximum use of Scholarship funds.
Who can apply?
Priority will be given to those who meet the below criteria; however we encourage all to apply, and all applications are considered while funds permit.
Selection priorities:
- Applicants from organizations within New England (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island)
- Applicants who work/volunteer for organizations with annual budgets of less than $500,000
- Applicants whose organization has not sent anyone to the conference in the past 3 years
- First time attendees
In order to ensure your application is considered, please read the information below and abide by the requirements for application submission. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Deadlines
- 12/16/24 - Scholarship applications open
- 1/17/25 - Last day to apply for a scholarship
- All applicants will be notified no later than 2/1/25 on the status of their application.
Please note that Scholarship recipient information (name, email, and scholarship funding details) will be shared with the Scholarship funders for reporting.
