James has worked at the Natural History Museum for nearly 20 years. During that time he has looked after one of the best collections of fish specimens in the world and helped hundreds of visitors (including David Attenborough and Tom Cruise) use that collection for various projects. He has given presentations to school groups and members of the general public and has spoken at events such as LGBT History Month at the Maritime Museum and the Women of the World festival at the Southbank Centre.
