Sasha Garwood researches gender, sex and food, which is about as much fun as it sounds. She has a PhD on early modern women and self-starvation from UCL, teaches History at Sheffield and English at Nottingham, and is currently failing to finish her first book. She's a big fan of early modern women, the Earl of Rochester, Miss Fisher, old houses with big windows, Aphra Behn, Sherlock Holmes (Elementary not Sherlock FOREVER) and swearing at inappropriate moments, for which she apologises.
