The Transgressive Miss Fisher

A session to squee about Phryne, lead character of Australian TV series 'Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries', and more seriously examine the character's transgressive nature, and the series more generally, in the light of the tropes of the 'lady detective' genre and the historical realities of being a woman in that time and place. Tech permitting, the session will start with a theme tune dance-along.
