
Vid Ingelevics is a visual artist, writer, independent curator and educator. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Professor and is Program Director, Photography, at Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts. His artwork and curatorial projects have been shown across Canada, in the United States, Europe and Australia. His research/creation project, “Freedom Rocks: the Everyday Life of the Berlin Wall”, carried out in collaboration with Dr. Blake Fitzpatrick, has been featured in important Canadian arts publications such as ‘CV Photo’ and ‘Prefix’ and has been exhibited/screened in Toronto, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.
