Anne Gracie is heading to Mildura

Brought to you by Romance Writers of Australia. As part of RWA’s ongoing commitment to bring professional development to our members, Anne Gracie will be holding a two day writing workshop in Mildura on the 18-19 April 2020.

Join multi-published author Anne Gracie for her ‘Writing Popular Fiction’ (Write that Novel?) workshop and learn what it takes. With more than 20 novels published internationally (Penguin Random House, USA) Anne will share her tips, tricks and techniques for writing an engrossing novel that readers (and editors) will pick up and not want to put down. This two day workshop will help you get started on your first novel, help you sort out all those ideas you've jotted down but never finished, and inspire you to finish (or polish) that novel you've started but had lurking in the bottom drawer.

During this two day workshop, Anne Gracie will deliver an intensive craft-of-writing program. The elements covered will be useful for all kinds of popular fiction. Whether you’re starting out or have published a number of books there will be writing exercises, tips and tricks for all levels of experience.

It will be two days of intensive writing and rewriting, and working in groups.

The focus will be on trying out a range of techniques and approaches, playing with your writing and seeing what suits you and what doesn’t. It will also be two days of connecting with like-minded people—through working in groups and discussing some of the issues raised, you might arrive knowing nobody, but you will leave having made friends.
