Stephen Belans fully embraces the DIY ethic. While maintaining a successful 30-year career as a touring and studio drummer, including the last seven years with master songwriter Radney Foster, he branched out to become a respected producer and recording engineer. He holds an equal love for real people playing real instruments and the musical possibilities that technology affords us. Stephen played on eight drum sample and MIDI groove products for EZdrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3 by Toontrack, and he handles Ableton Live on tour for Elvis Costello and The Imposters.
