Jedd Katrancha serves as Executive Vice President, Creative Services for Downtown Music Publishing, where he leads the company’s global creative marketing services team. With more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of music, entertainment, and advertising, Jedd oversees a global team that works across film, television, video games, product placement, and advertising, among others, to identify and place works from both active writers and Downtown’s music catalog, spanning more than 100 years of music.
Since joining Downtown in 2007 as its second hire, Jedd has built Downtown’s creative services department from the ground up. Known for his inclusive and collaborative approach, under Jedd’s leadership Downtown has licensed works to a broad range of global brands, including: Activision, AnheuserBusch, Cadillac, Chevy, Electronic Arts, Hermes, Honda, Kia, Mountain Dew, Nike, Prada, RockStar Games, Sprint, Vitamin Water, and Walmart, among others.
Prior to Downtown, Jedd worked for EMI Music Publishing and Spirit Music. He started his career working alongside the notable music supervisor, Susan Jacobs, who gave Jedd his first introduction to the creative world and helped apply his vast musical knowledge for film and television.
A native Virginian, Jedd earned his B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University. He lives in New York City with his wife and children.
