Michael is a touring songwriter born and raised in Alaska and has a long history of involvement in music and community based service activities. His current work is focused on leading the Alaska Independent Musicians Initiative (AKIMI) working to develop and export Alaskan music. Michael also serves on the FAR-West Folk Alliance board of directors.
